Editor for long-form investigative documentaries for Dateline NBC and MSNBC. Worked closely with producer in crafting story and stylistic approach. Also editor for short-form segments produced for The Today Show, CNBC, and CBS News. Final Cut Pro HD.

Assistant Video Designer | HERE Arts Center | New York, NY - 2009

Assistant to video designer in the programming and running of a multi-channel projection created for the stage play ÒSounding,Ó a work in progress showcased at HEREÕs CultureMart festival. Programmed with Isadora software.

Director | Bang Lime & Last Gang Records  | Oakland, CA  & Toronto, Canada - 2007

Commissioned as director, co-producer, writer, primary videographer, and editor in the creation of a music video for the band Bang LimeÕs debut album, Best Friends In Love. Produced for broadcast and web distribution.    

Video Designer | Temescal Arts Center | Oakland, CA - 2007

Created a two-channel video installation for Clock, a collaboration with dancer and choreographer Micaela Gardner. Video was created to produce an environment of moving landscapes and abstract forms representing movement and time. Simultaneous projections were presented live with dance performance.

Teaching Artist | East Bay Center for the Performing Arts  | Richmond, CA - 2006-07

Instructor of video production throughout the public schools of Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Collaborating with fellow teaching artists of other disciplines in creating engaging, project-based curricula. 

Editor | Community Bridge Video  | Oakland, CA - 2006

Editor for short-format projects produced for the Latino Film Festival in conjunction with Subaru, as well as for the California Dance Institute and the Museum of Natural History, Los Angeles.

Producer, Videographer, Editor | The Opportunity Agenda | New York, NY - 2006

Commissioned by the Opportunity Agenda to produce short-format documentaries for their official website launch. Videos addressed various socio-political issues within America under-represented by mainstream, commercial media.

Night Editor | CBS News Productions | New York, NY - 2006

Role as night editor at CBS News Productions included digitizing and syncing multi-camera footage (Beta, DVC Pro, and Mini DV), creating rough edits, assisting with technical needs for projects and primary editors. Worked closely with editors, post-production coordinator, and producers for the Food Network and the History Channel.

Teaching Artist, Head of Video Instruction | Brooklyn College Community Partnership | Brooklyn, NY - 2004-2005

Role as teaching artist in video production was to instruct digital video production and post-production to at-risk high school youth throughout Brooklyn through the BCCP after-school and Saturday programs. Additional teaching included working with Brooklyn College service learning students at the undergraduate level in pedagogy and media as social practices. Responsibilities also included creative and technical guidance for students and staff, creating community-based collaborative projects, and coordinating fellow video instructors and staff in new pedagogical approaches through digital storytelling. Programs: Final Cut, DVD Studio Pro, iMovie, and iDVD.

Editor | Paul Ryan, Video Artist | New York, NY - 2005

Worked as editor and assistant editor for pioneering video artist and scholar Paul Ryan on three projects created for RyanÕs gallery exhibitions in Aug 2005. Responsibilities included creating rough to final cut edits, creative consultation, and authoring all projects to DVD. Programs: Avid Xpress Pro, iDVD, and DVD Studio Pro.

Editor for short documentary entitled ÒFlorida,Ó which was a testimony-based account of voter disenfranchisement during the 2000 Presidential Elections. Produced for online distribution during the 2004 Presidential Elections.

Producer, Videographer, Editor | Touch & Go Records | New York, NY - 2003-04

Commissioned to create video for Touch & Go signed band TV on the Radio for their single ÒDreams.Ó Video was included on bandÕs full-length debut CD release, Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes in March 2004. Also featured on NPRÕs All Songs Considered.
