Not in Oz Anymore
I have returned from the Southern Hemisphere, and I have to say that I think this trip to Australia has cleared out any romantic notions I had of what is known as winter North of the equator. To say the least, the first 24 hours back in Seoul, where there has been record snowfall, has been a bit of a shock to the system. Kind of like walking out of a sauna and into a freezer. It’s taken about 12 hours for my apartment to heat up to a comfortable temperature. (In NYC it’s required by law for landlords to provide the heat in the winter. Not so here.) Oh well, at least I have these great photos…
The holidays were wonderful. Always had a fascination with Aus, and am so glad to have had the chance to go — thanks to Mike, Sang, & family. It was great to be in this beautiful place with everyone.
